Yesterday, High School Biology teacher, Mrs. Becher, and PE teacher, Mr. Maskulinski, came into our classroom to assist teaching a lesson on how to make maple syrup. Mrs Becher and Mr. Maskulinski both are experienced in making maple syrup. The lesson began with a visual presentation of 40 cups setting on a desk. Mrs. Becher explained that if we filled all 40 cups with maple tree sap, it would boil down into 1 cup of maple syrup! Mr. Maskulinski explained the equipment needed to tap a tree and collect the maple tree sap. Today, Mr. Maskulinski took the class outside and taped trees to collect maple tree sap. If we are lucky, we will boil down the sap and make maple syrup on Friday! Thank you to Mrs. Becher and Mr. Maskulinski for teaching us a great lesson! Comments are closed.
