Thank you for allowing our class from Iroquois High School to visit the Elma Town Hall. The students enjoyed going into your office and learning about town politics. We enjoyed singing Happy Birthday to the town building inspector. Meeting all the people that work in the Town Hall was interesting and fun. Most of all, the students appreciated going outside and looking at Sheriff Higgins’ police vehicle. It was a beautiful day to go outside and learn about the Memorial Park under the flagpoles.
After the field trip, the students expressed that they were surprised by the size of the court room and the interesting items in the room. The students especially liked the flag that was once flown at the Capitol Building. We are grateful for your invitation to the Elma Town Hall. This field trip has exceeded our expectations of learning about the community around us.
Thank you again,
Mr. Mitri’s Class
