Today we took a field trip to The Fairdale Banquet Center in Amherst, NY. It was a fun learning experience for everyone. The students learned about the workplace skills necessary to work in a kitchen and banquet hall. Some of the things that we learned include the safety skills needed and proper procedures to work in a kitchen and serving food. The students each received a chef hat and decorated cupcakes for Valentines Day. The Fairdale also treated everyone to lunch! It was a great experience for everyone.
