As part of our Life Science lessons we ordered caterpillars to watch and observe. Over the weekend the butterflies emerged from their cocoon! Because so many of my students participate in so many outside activities that they are proud of, I am going to start sharing their accomplishments for everyone to see. Today our class took a field trip to the Elma Conversation Club as part of our Healthy Living class. The students learned how to hook bait and remove a hook safely. It was a great experience for our students to get out and socialize with each other outside of our classroom setting. The weather was perfect and the fish were biting! Visiting a Sheep FarmAfter we went fishing we were invited to visit Fronczak Farm to see some newborn sheep. The trip was thrilling for the students and chaperones! We got to watch and hold sheep that were born seven days before. It was a great way for the students to connect with nature. |
