Today for a cooking to learn lesson we made english muffin or bagel pizza and a veggie salad. We picked from a variety of toppings including; pepperoni, black olives, green olives, ham, and pineapple. The students took turns using the toaster oven then enjoyed eating them! The students also made a veggie salad that included lettuce, tomato, carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower.
Yesterday we went on a field trip to the Botanical Gardens. It was a great experience for everyone. We were able to make a take home terrarium and also went on a tour of the gardens.
